Let the festivities begin!

Well, Christmas is about to begin in earnest today.  I always loved Christmas Eve much more than Christmas Day.   I guess it's the anticipation, or maybe it's just the warmth and comfort of family.

I do want to wish a Merry Christmas to everyone of my bloggy friends.  I hope you have a wonderful time with family and friends and above all, worshipping the Lord, because this season is about Him.

I also would ask that if you know people who are sick at this time of year, or have lost loved ones over the past year, do pray for them and minister to them; even if they aren't famous.  We all know people right in our midst who will find Christmas difficult this year because of the loss of family or because they are in the hospital, sick or even fighting for their lives.  Don't limit your prayers to just the people who are brought to your attention via the internet.  There are real, live, needy people in our midst everywhere.

Christmas can be hard for peope who are hurting.
