Looking forward to T4G

I went for a walk yesterday, and it felt like spring.  We haven't had much of a winter, but it was nice to feel that spring is coming.  Februrary is usually so drab around here.  I find the grey days make me feel lethargic.  Yesterday, there was a hint of what is coming.  I heard a Cardinal bellowing out his song in the neighbour's tree.  I love Cardinals and Hummingbirds, and I love when they both return.

Spring means rain, too, but I don't mind rain too much when it is warmer.  Spring will bring icy storms here as well, and I don't like those.  But Spring this year means hubby and I are going to T4G.  I am very excited, not only to hear the speakers, but to have a trip away with hubby, going somewhere we've never been before.  I am reserving a special memory card in my camera for the event.  We were not originally planning to go to Band of Bloggers, but my husband decided we would go and registered us yesterday.  I don't really know what to expect from such an event.  I was curious as to why there are no women on the panel, but didn't dwell long on it.  I think I will sit at an inconspicous corner and photograph people.  I'm not good at that, and I need practice.  I hope they have good lighting.  Artificial light really makes for bad pictures.

I am also looking forward to meeting up with some friends, especially my friend, Staci Eastin and her husband and my sweet friend, Darlene Johnson.   I can't wait to hug them both.  Apparently, my husband and his cronies from Calvinist Gadfly are meeting together, but I don't plan on hugging them.  Sorry.  But I am looking forward to fellowship in a circle of individuals where being a Calvinist won't get me tarred and feathered.

I am very excited about T4G. I really need to figure out how to manage Band of Bloggers, too.
